Joey + Dallas

This post is a little late (okay, a lot late) but since I'm just now getting a break from all the holiday portraits, I couldn't help but share this wedding.

Joey and Dallas. Let's start with the bride. Why? Because she and her bridesmaids were gorgeous and because I can't get enough of them. Every detail was planned out, from custom hangers to the silky robes they spent the morning in. I loved spending my morning with these ladies. They were hilarious, and Dallas was so easy to photograph.

Now, this may be close to overshare, but I can't help myself because this day was so glorious. Dallas was stunning.

The Litt Family

I love beach sessions. The beach is one of my favorite places to be, especially during sunset hour. My family and I love to walk the beach and winter is no exception. I was so happy that this family wanted to get winter beach portraits taken. The views year round are exception and the sunsets are worth every windy moment.

This family was simply gorgeous and they were so fun to work with. We laughed together the entire time and who can beat that? Don't you love these people? Let me know which are your favorite with a comment below.

Mannie & Rachel

This is Mannie and Rachel. Rachel is a dear friend who I met when I began attending a Bible study group many many years ago. Rachel is a person you can describe as someone you meet once and feel like you've been friends forever. Her heart is so genuine, honest, and true, and I've loved being able to watch her life evolve over the years and watch her love with Mannie bloom into a forever love. When she got engaged and asked me to photograph her perfect day, I simply had to. I wouldn't have missed this glorious celebration of the union of Mannie and my beautiful friend for anything.

Their wedding took place on a hot and humid day in the summer of 2018. To say we (every single person who joined them in celebrating) were dripping with sweat in the Virginia summer heat is an understatement, but I wouldn't expect anything less from this east coast weather. The day was filled with sun from morning til night but the trees provided us with ample shade we needed. I laughed with Rachel from each moment of her wedding day and the day was truly a joyous occasion with Mannie and Rachel's closest loved ones.
