Love

My life has changed drastically over the last two years. The little people in the photos below belong to my husband and me. Nearly 14 years ago Andrew and I married on a hot day in August. We declared before we even married that we'd never have children. Since the years after our wedding day, I've heard the phrase "never say never" quite often. Apparently when you say "never" the exact opposite is bound to happen. So, six months after we were married, we found out we were going to have a baby. That was our baby girl, Meredith. She's sweet like me, sassy like her father, and sensitive like both Andrew and myself. Of course we said we'd never have any more children after her. Yeah, that didn't happen. Andrew and I had two little boys, eleven months apart. Our Owen was born May, 2016, and Parker came eleven months later in April of 2017. Before I had Parker I was teaching kindergarten, but after he came I knew I needed to stay home with these little people. I knew I needed to devote my time wholly to raising them and Meredith and serving them the best I could. Lord knows, being at home with these babies is exhausting, but I love knowing that I'm serving the Lord through serving my family. When I quit teaching I began photography as an alternative to the typical career path. I loved that I could be creative and still help provide for my family.

I love photography.
I love my little people.
This is my family.
Happy Valentine's Day.
